It has been 500 years since Aelana has been home, and a lot has changed in that time--including her. As a half-dragon, half-human hybrid, she has been traveling the universe destroying worlds. Both anxious and excited to return, she wonders what she will find. Her memories of home are filled with pain and loss, especially for her first and only love. She knows he won't be there, but will his memory? Will her anguish remain?

What waits for Aelana on her home world? Find out in this exciting urban fantasy novel by Pembroke Sinclair.
When I started reading this book I felt like it was something special and I wasn't disappointed.  With plenty of mystery I could not put it down.  It is a interesting take on the apocalypse which was very exciting.

Aelana is a half-human half-dragon hybrid.   She  travels the universe to prepare them for the destruction of the world so that it can heal the damages the inhabitants have caused.   Kalen a police officer,  who is the reincarnation of her soulmate Thoran.  When the two meet he feels a connection,  feeling like a they have met before.

The flashback to a time before Aelana was transformed into a hybrid was fantastic.  It adds a lot to the story's background.   Throughout the book we discover when Aelana first transformed into a hybrid. What happened with Thoran and why the dragons destroy the worlds.

In the end this book was a very descriptive book with a very entertaining plot,  that I enjoyed from the beginning.   I absolutely loved it and ended up giving it 5/5.
